I've been waiting for the official results for the Dawg Dash held this morning on the UW campus. I ran long yesterday, putting in about 21 miles with the ESR group, two of whom are training for their upcoming marathon in Florence, Italy. So I didn't expect much out of the run this morning. Mile one and two seemed to be about right, speed-wise, and I didn't see the signs for three and four. I knew I was running well because I was catching people for the rest of the course. I ended up with my best time. I broke 41 minutes. I hope they didn't get the course wrong. I did this after all those miles yesterday. I really wish I could write that I have figured out my career goals and/or directional project for myself, but I can't. I'll take my victories where I can.
