In case you aren't aware of the current terror alert warning, you can find it in the left sidebar.

I went to the advising meeting (advisory meeting?) today and I hope I didn't pester them too much. I am glad to learn that I won't have to test out of math as I had planned. They'll accept my calculus from years ago. I don't have the specific multicultural sociology that they want but my political science degree and all the classes that went into it will help me out. When I drop off the application I'll give them my UMass transcript and they'll make the final decision then. What I need to do next is make appointments with two hospitals to do visits. They want me to see the job being done before I (try to) take the plunge.

I tried to treat this meeting as a pre-interview in order to make a good impression. I hope my questions and ramblings didn't put them off too much (or at all). The good thing I heard is that according to my grades I'll make it to the interview portion of the process. I confessed that I don't feel I interview well (part of my rambling) so Sally said that this is where the feedback from the hospital visits might come into play. I'll see how this works out.
