Ok. How did I do? All right I think, but I don't have anything to compare it to. I don't know how the other candidates did. Whether I get in is determined by a number of variables, the interview being just one. I could have mentioned taking care of Mom more but I know that now in hindsight. I think I did well in the reading comprehension and the math segment but I didn't have time to go back and check my work. I think that some of the people with whom I did my clinical observations were rooting for me in the interview. That was heartening. I find out at the end of April or the beginning of May whether I'm accepted. As I wrote to a friend recently, "my bones are optimistic."

I'm not so optimistic about the weather. After our Saturday morning run I went to Fall City to retrieve the bike. It is now sort of protected by my old motorcycle cover which was shredded by the elements. I used duct tape to patch it up until I can get a better one. I'm hoping that the sorry look of the cover will dissuade anyone from thinking that there is something nice underneath. We have been getting showers at a pretty consistent 42-48 degrees lately. It does get a bit warmer during midday, but not by much. What happened to that 65 degrees?
